Close-up Chile was founded by people who love the outdoors, who love photography and are passionate about making an extraordinary experience for you to enjoy. Javier Echecopar is an avid traveler. While educated in the United States, Peru and Chile, he developed a love for adventure and appreciation of nature. His passion for outdoor photography grew gradually during trips through most of South America and the United States. He's worked as a mountain guide in Chile and Argentina, carrying his camera up to the summit of the highest peak in the western hemisphere, Mt.Aconcagua. After graduating with a sociology major, he founded CloseUp Chile to provide an exceptional photography experience in a country filled with magnificent landscapes.
