CMB Engineering

CMB Engineering is one of the largest independent Building Services Contractor in England and Wales, with a turnover for 2014-2015 being in excess of £30 million. The business was formed in February 1992 as a partnership (Steve & Christine Borley) and as a result of significant growth in it's early years, the Company changed its status in September 1997 to a Limited Company (Borley Engineering Services Limited trading as CMB Engineering). The Company has just completed it's 22nd year in the Industry. The business has continued to grow annually by adopting a "No Grief" constructive approach to contracting, avoiding confrontation and claims by promoting co-operation and team work. In January 2004, the Company acquired the assets and contracts of Blackpool based Fylde & Mechanical & Electrical Services. A new Company CMB Fylde Engineering was formed, employing the existing staff and site operatives to service the North of England. Following continuous growth, the Company has now expanded it's activities by opening a new Maintenance Office trading in Cardiff as CMB Maintenance in 2005, a Bristol Office trading as CMB Engineering Bristol Ltd in April 2007, a Neath Office in West Wales operating as CMB West Ltd in January 2008, a Bristol Office trading as CMB Electrical Bristol in 2010, and now a new Office in West Wales to provide Renewable Technologies to compliment the Group Companies. The new branch is CMB Renewables which was formed in March 2012. A new satellite office has been opened in Maidstone Kent to serve our business in South East England. CMB Engineering are unique in obtaining a top 300 (120), Growth 100 (28) and fast Growth 50 (24) all within the same year of 2009. Also CMB Engineering entered the top 20 in the H&V News for Mechanical and Electrical Contractors in the UK.
