Comision Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia CNMC

Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC) is an independent authority in charge of both competition and regulatory matters in Spain. It is a public body with legal personality and full public and private capacity. It is independent of government and is subject to parliamentary and judicial control. It is financed through the General Budget of the Spanish State. It became operational on October 7, 2013.
