Coastline Imaging is a diagnostic testing facility located within the Indus Pavilion on Eau Gallie Boulevard in Melbourne, Florida. Established in 1997, the company performs MRI exams for family practitioners as well as a wide variety of physician specialists. Coastline Imaging utilizes a General Electric Signa LX System. The new short bore design is equipped with the very latest technology. The short bore is extremely patient friendly and has significantly improved the quality and versatility of imaging procedures across the board. The LX is capable of completing most exams within fifteen minutes or less. This technology is also reshaping the ever growing MR Angiography field. Year 2003 saw Coastline Imaging expand its range of services to include Spiral CT, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Dexascan and plain film X-Ray. This arose from the company's response to the growing demand of its client base for additional imaging modalities. Arthrography and EEG have also been added to accommodate the immediate need for these procedures. December 2004 Coastline opened their second location, with the GE Ovation Open MRI with EXCITE Technology. The first Open MRI with EXCITE Technology in the United States. EXCITE Technology provides a clearer image for a more in depth diagnosis.
