COFARMA LABORATORIES S.A., was founded in the year of 1944 in the city of Barranquilla with the purpose of manufacturing and distributing Over the Counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products, personal care and household care products. Initially we manufactured and distributed products for American companies; but later through analyzing the business opportunities present in the Colombian market, Cofarma later specialized in the manufacture of products for household care such as air fresheners, cleaners, disinfectants and insecticides under their own brand names. This wide diversity of products became one of the main strengths of our company.
