Care Options For Kids

Care Options For Kids (COFK) began operating in Dallas in 1999 and was one of the earliest providers of pediatric home health therapy in Texas. COFK provides services for children who exhibit moderate to severe delays and disorders requiring speech, physical or occupational therapy as prescribed by the child&s;s primary care physician. A vast majority of children served are birth to age 10; however, the Agency is licensed to treat children from birth to 21 years of age. Today, one in three children receiving home health therapy in Texas receive it from Care Options For Kids. Our services are performed in a child&s;s home, private school, daycare setting, or any other designated location considered their temporary or permanent home. Our therapists come to the patient; we work with the child and their parent or guardian in surroundings most familiar to them. This results in an optimally efficient, effective and long-term clinical outcome for the patient. Working with the patient, the family, the physician and managed care or other insurance professionals, our licensed therapists design each child&s;s plan of care to address the individual medical needs of the child.
