Collegiate Academies creates and supports schools that prepare all scholars for college success. A college degree has never been more important. On average, college graduates earn $1 million more by the end of their career than those with a high school diploma, and high school dropouts are 3 times more likely than college graduates to be unemployed. At the same time, teenagers across our country attend schools that fail to prepare them for college and successful careers. 76% of students are not academically prepared for first-year college courses. College instructors report that over 50% of their students were not prepared by their high school. Less than50% of all Louisiana public school graduates matriculate to college after graduation.
