Colonial Oaks Senior

Colonial Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care in Houston understands the stress a family experiences when they are making difficult decisions for a loved one with Alzheimer's or dementia. With many years of experience, our Houston staff is available to answer any questions you might have about dementia or Alzheimer's. Our Community Relations Director has experienced caring for a parent with dementia, and having this experience she can relate directly to residents' family members and the decisions they have to make. We offer a wide variety of activities to engage every resident and stimulate their mind and memory. Our Rhythm of the Day™ program provides a happy and healthy environment in which our memory care residents flourish. There is a difference in care among memory care facilities. Colonial Oaks' primary referral source is the families of our residents. We are very proud of that. To find out more about our philosophy of care for dementia, Alzheimer's and memory care residents, schedule a tour of our Houston location today. Executive Director - Darren KloeselFrom mental health group homes to assisted living memory care, Darren Kloesel has served residents for 20 years. He joined Colonial Oaks in 2002 as Executive Director of this community solely devoted to memory care. Darren was raised in a family that was always willing and able to help, and the word "no" was not used when someone was in need. Darren has lived by that standard through his years of serving seniors, and he leads his staff in caring for residents using that same philosophy. Community Relations Director - Sarah Guest Email: [email protected] Guest has served seniors in assisted living for the past 10 years. After a series of events affecting her and her aging mother who was struggling with dementia, Sarah came to look at serving seniors and their families as a ministry. In 2008, Sarah joined Colonial Oaks where she has drawn upon her personal experiences to help guide families during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Her passion is to provide families with hope and encouragement.
