The Community Transport
CTST over recent years has developed a state-wide district based business model, staffed by a Transport Coordinator, each district with its own office. The fundamental principles governing such a model centre on the ability for CTST to address transport access issues in differing population structures, to be able to assess the needs of different communities and to accumulate data and information central to future transport planning. The districts are able to work together across the state where client destinations such as Hobart are common. Most importantly for CTST the district based model is designed to accommodate changes in Federal and State governments transport policies in the future where such changes may lead to providing community transport services to a broader range of disadvantaged people in our community.
