A subsidiary of Melton Machine and Control Company, Computech was established in 1987 and opened its doors for business in North Kansas City in 1988. We provide custom-designed special machines and tooling for a wide variety of industries, including the automotive, aerospace, manufacturing and pharmaceutical markets. Because our equipment is completely designed and built in-house, we are able to provide unparalleled quality and customer service before, during and after the sale. Our dedication and attention to detail has earned Computech ISO 9001 and AS9100 certifications for our machine shop and fabrication facility. In aerospace, those certifications allow us to participate and specialize in part production and welded assemblies of aircraft components. In the automotive industry, we have completed from concept to installation entire automated assembly conveyor lines, including controls and safety integration. CMC also developed the Koolbox, a handheld personal cooling system for racecar drivers. Because of the Koolbox, CMC has become a well-known supplier in the professional racing industry.
