Cooper Natural Resources, Inc. (CNR) was incorporated in December of 1996 and was comprised of the Ozark Division which manufactures and sells sodium sulfate throughout North America and Mexico. In June, 2002, CNR acquired controlling interest in Laguna Salada, LLC. For the purpose of producing and marketing branded and unbranded consumer staple goods. In October of 2004, CNR entered a joint venture with Giles Chemical to form Saltex, LLC, a U.S. based marketer of synthetic sodium sulfate which serves the North American market. In March, 2006 Energy Services Group (ESG) was acquired. It supplies commodity chemicals to oil and gas production and service companies. In 2014, CNR formed Xpress Fleet Maintenance, LLC to offer preventative maintenance services for oil field service company pressure pumping and other heavy equipment. Cooper Natural Resources has five industry leading divisions dealing with sodium sulfate production and marketing, specialty chemicals and consumer products.
