Founded in 1994 by Jim Cockburn and Jan Rees, our journey began in a small office in Bromsgrove, West Midlands, UK where we established our commitment to providing high quality fostering services for Local Authorities and better outcomes for looked after children. As our reputation grew, so did we. We expanded throughout England, Northern Ireland and Scotland to eventually become the UK's largest Independent Fostering Agency (IFA). But that's not all. As our fostering services blossomed we took the opportunity to apply the knowledge and the skills we'd gained, globally - expanding our services into America, Australia, Canada, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand and Sweden. Although we were founded in fostering, we've become so much more. Our expansion into services for children and families and consultancy and resourcing for the social care sector has helped us make a difference on a wider scale, both in the UK and internationally.
