Capital Oil Refining Industries

Capital Oil Refining Industries Ltd. (CORI) is a wholly Malawian company engaged in the refining of vegetable oil and processing of oil seeds. CORI is a renowned and reputable industry in Malawi mainly due to its quality vegetable oil. The industry is situated at Chirimba Industrial Site located on the outskirts of Blantyre, Malawi. This Industrial site was a virgin bush before CORI laid its foundation. CORI is the brainchild of two brothers, .M.F.A Karim and K.A.Karim, who after thorough research and extensive study discovered the potential for edible vegetable oil in Malawi. CORI's cooking oil with the brand name "KUKOMA" made out of vegetable cooking oil is a well known and widely accepted product in the Malawian Market. Currently CORI produces capacities to supply locally only. However, CORI intends to expand by introducing export opportunities in the near future.
