Cortem S.p.A. is proud of its experience of more than forty years in designing and manufacturing these equipment ATEX/IEC Ex certified. Cortem products have reached a high technological level thanks to constant technical innovation. During the '70s, Elfit S.p.A. company was founded in order to carry out some strategic processes internal to the company and to provide the market with complementary lighting products, such as electrical equipment, cable glands, junction boxes. Since the beginning, Elfit becomes an important player of Oil&Gas field both in Italy and abroad with a high qualified brand. Today it's specialized in foundry, mechanical workshop and manufacturing of fittings. Fondisonzo company, a competitor in the same market segment since 1962, was acquired during the '90s. Cortem became soon the technological point of reference for Italian explosion-protected equipment. Fondisonzo is today a brand of Cortem Group. About us
