COSCO SHIPPING International is a subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited ("COSCO SHIPPING"). COSCO SHIPPING is the world's largest shipping company in terms of comprehensive strength. Its fleet of 1,114 ships, with a combined capacity of 85.32 million DWT, ranks the first in the world. COSCO SHIPPING International has aimed to establish the shipping services industrial cluster as its strategic development direction. The Group has initially laid an integrated shipping services platform comprising ship trading agency, marine insurance brokerage, supply of marine equipment and spare parts, production and sale of coatings as well as trading and supply of marine fuel and related products, offering diversified and specialised shipping related services and products to customers such as shipping companies, shipyards, container manufacturers, etc. As of 30th June 2016, the net asset value per share and net cash per share of COSCO SHIPPING International was HK$5.04 and HK$4.00 respectively, and the total number of shares in issue was approximately 1.53 billion.
