Council of Business Advisors
The Council of Business Advisors is a business association, a 501(c)(6) "business league," that was founded in 2007 by a core group of Bay Area professionals who wanted a better forum to improve their own capabilities and expand their networks of professional resources. In doing so, they believed that they could help improve business conditions for themselves and their clients' companies. These have remained consistent themes as the Council has grown. Drawing on their experiences with other associations of professionals and networking business groups, the founders developed a format and structure for the Council to provide as much value as possible to each member and to the business community its members serve. Since that time, the Council has continued to build on suggestions from its members and to expand, now with groups in San Francisco, the East Bay and the Peninsula/Silicon Valley. Council members make up a diverse association of experienced professionals, some who work in large companies, and others who are independent business consultants or work in small firms. Check out our members and find consultants you need on the Find Advisors page. The common bond among members is the desire to expand their contacts, resources, knowledge, commerce, and influence. In doing so, they know they can be more effective in helping their clients, thereby improving their businesses, as well as the general business environment.
