Belfast Office Supply & Services, County Copy & Print Center, and Maine Coast Photo-Belfast are physical store and ecommerce divisions of St. Peter Ventures, LLC. They share the space at 15-17 Main St., in Downtown Belfast, Maine and continue to operate under the separate names to carry on the legacy of these well-established businesses in mid-coast and eastern Maine. St. Peter Ventures, LLC was formed in November of 2006 to purchase the existing County Copy & Print Center and Maine Coast Photo-Belfast stores, businesses which had operated in Belfast since well before the turn of the century. The company is owned by Linda and Terry St. Peter. Terry previously served as city manager in three Maine communities until retirement and, with this acquisition in an "encore" career move, fulfilled a life-long desire to own and operate his own business. In 2008, we seized an opportunity to acquire the assets of Belfast Office Supply and Services, known affectionately as BOSS, realizing that it made a good fit with printing and photographic services, all meeting, in one way or another, personal, imaging, and business needs. We relocated the BOSS inventory and homey fixtures to combine with the evolving photo store. While art supplies were a good part of the previous BOSS' offerings, space and the art talents of the existing County Copy & Print Center staff made it advantageous to offer the art supplies through the County Copy & Print Center division. At St. Peter Ventures, we recognize that we exist in a crowded, competitive environment with lots of "big boys" in the field. Accordingly, we work harder to provide friendly, helpful, and responsive service along with competitive pricing to continue to earn the support of people and businesses in Waldo County, mid-coast, and eastern Maine. To that end, we now operate both a "bricks and mortar" facility (although, in actuality, we are in a wood-frame, one-time grain mill) and online services. County Copy & Print Center is primarily a walk-in shop, but orders can be made online and large documents can be sent by our Hightail Dropbox feature. We continue to offer photographic printing in the store, as well as photographic supplies, but we offer an online photo printing service as well. Our biggest online, or ecommerce, component is the BOSS Online shopping cart, with more than 35,000 products available at reduced prices. This is an adjunct to our convenient retail store where many Belfast-area residents have come to rely on for their business and office needs, including customized business checks and forms. We are very proud of our staff. At County Copy & Print Center, Louise Shorette and Stacy Lanphier provide talented, dedicated, and very friendly service to people looking to copy, print, design, make brochures and booklets, and so on. At Maine Coast Photo and BOSS, Linda Foster, who came to us from the previous owner, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful in finding the right product for your needs.
