Gil Couto is a Portuguese immigrant who dreamt of being a business owner, and in 1987 realized his dream by starting Couto Construction. We are now a second-generation owned company with two of Gil's sons, Jason and Derek, leading us. His oldest son, Brian, is a project manager. The Couto family is large, with brothers, cousins, and even kids all working here. As our company grew, employees also became part of the family. These days, Gil can still be seen at Couto job sites dropping off the dumpster or supplies. He's almost always the first production team member to meet the customer.
