Covage

Covage is an infrastructure operator, specializing in the design, construction, technical operation and marketing of high speed broadband networks. As a partner to local authorities for the Public Network Initiative (RIP), Covage now operates 19 networks for utilities, businesses and individuals in two provinces (departments) and 15 local authorities and a network of highways and fiber submarine cable. Covage also deployed its own national transmission network. More than one hundred service providers and local, national and international operators use these networks. Covage offers a wide range of services to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and operators of electronic communications services: guaranteed and symmetrical bandwidth, dark fiber rental and hosting. Established in 2006, Covage is equally owned by Axia NetMedia Corporation, Canadian operator of next generation networks, and Cube Infrastructure Fund, an investment fund managed by Natixis (Groupe Banque Populaire Caisse d'Epargne), specializing in infrastructure and utilities.
