Cowelco, a California Corporation, has been a premiere Subcontractor for Miscellaneous Steel, Steel Stairs and light structural for the construction industry since 1947. Our state of the art fabrication facility is located in Long Beach near the 710 and 405 freeways and the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. We are known for the high quality of our workmanship, our on-time service and ability to handle most "fast - track" projects as well as complicated and intricate work. Some of this specialized work was performed for Disneyland during the 1960's. During the 68 years that Cowelco has been serving the industry, we have established a close working relationship with many General Contractors in Southern California including: Turner Construction, Matt Construction, Bomel Construction, Morley Builders, Rudolph & Sletten, PCL Construction, Hensel Phelps Construction Company, Hathaway Dinwiddie, Klorman Construction and many others. Cowelco has a reputation as a financially responsible company with 67 years experience taking care of our obligations. Cowelco is not subject to a limit on its bonding capacity. Our bond rate is 1%. Cowelco's minority status includes a WBE certification with the City of Los Angeles, and a SBE with the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. Cowelco has been a licensed City of Los Angeles (COLA) Approved Fabricator since the 1960's.
