Cowles

The Cowles Family launched KHQ-TV in 1952, and since then its broadcasting division has expanded to include NBC, ABC, and FOX affiliates in the Washington and Montana markets. A diversified media company that also owns the long-running Spokane, Washington newspaper, The Spokesman-Review, the Cowles Company owns and operates Montana stations KULR-TV, KWYB, KFBB-TV, KTMF, and Washington stations, KHQ-TV, KNDO/KNDU.
