CONSTRUCTION & PROCUREMENT SERVICES

The company was effectively formed in 1974 and is still 100% nationally owned and operated in Papua New Guinea. Due to a consolidation in ownership the Company name change was effected in 2011 to Wild Cat Developments Ltd. In 2013 the company, along with its subsidiary, South West Air Ltd, was acquired by the Remington Group of companies. The companies have recently (2016) been acquired by Iaraguma Ltd and Wild Cat Developments Ltd. name has been changed to Construction & Procurement Services Ltd (CPS). From its beginnings in hydrometric survey work, the company has grown to become a major force in oil-heli-rig construction, general field support services to the mining and petroleum industries, road, bridge and airport construction and maintenance and general civil engineering works. CPS employs a permanent workforce in excess of 300 (and upward of 800 at any one time) with substantial resources including over 120 items of major plant. A significant factor in the company's long term success has been the Senior Management's experience and understanding of the difficulties inherent in remote area field operations within Papua New Guinea.
