Craft Wicker & Things

Craft Wicker & Things Ltd. was established in August of 1986. At first, the company's primary focus was in the production and exportation of wicker furniture to the United States and Trinidad. We were then located on Norman Road, Kingston. There was also some dabbling in trophies and awards during this time. We moved the factory to Morant Bay and the furniture aspect of the business came to an end after hurricane Gilbert literally wiped out the islands supply of wicker in 1988. We kept the company alive by making children's swing sets and selling items to companies for Christmas advertising. In 1995 we moved the company to Swallowfield Road and the Trophy and Awards aspect of the business took off as we were able to access wholesalers which we never had the availability of before. In the August of 1995 David attended the first Trophy and Awards Show in Houston, Texas and was exposed to a lot of Trophy Manufacturers and suppliers. Since then we have tried to keep abreast of trends and technology by attending the largest Awards and Recognition show in Las Vegas, each year. Craft Wicker has both Rotary and Laser Engravers and we can engrave on aluminum, brass, wood, plastic, acrylic and light colored leather.
