The Caribbean Regional Information and Translation Institute

CRITI focuses on bridging the existing language and other communication barriers to effective participation for all CARIFORUM Member States in the process of regional cooperation and regional integration. It especially emphasizes the needs of non-English speaking Members. CRITI meets these aims by providing multilingual translation and information services that enable regional institutions such as CARIFORUM and CARICOM to better communicate with Member States. CRITI's services enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the dissemination of information that impacts the lives of citizens in the Caribbean region. Through its translation services, CRITI makes official, semi-official, private sector, and other information available throughout CARIFORUM and CARICOM, no matter the language in which the information originated. CRITI offers translation, interpretation and information services to professional bodies, regional organizations, and the general public on a cost recovery basis as part of its long-term sustainability strategy.
