CrossFit RRG

The CrossFit RRG represents our strength and initiative as a community and is designed to: Protect all of us from potentially devastating lawsuits or attacks against our program, our affiliates and our trainers. Take aggressive action in the defense of our reputation. Discourage lawsuits against CrossFit by creating a formidable defensive barrier. The RRG originally provided just Professional Liability Insurance but now also provides General Liability Insurance to the CrossFit community. Work is also underway to provide these forms of insurance to our international affiliates but at present the coverage is restricted to the United States only. Professional Liability coverage protects an affiliate or trainer from lawsuits arising from giving or failing to give advice to clients. General Liability coverage protects policyholders from legal action arising from injuries that occur on your premises or at whatever location you may be conducting a class. Such injuries may arise from a hazard that exists and that you may not be aware of or have any control over. These two forms of coverage are required of CrossFit affiliates and must be kept and renewed at expiration in order to maintain good standing as an affiliate. Trainers working exclusively at an affiliate gym are covered by the affiliates policy. Independent trainers should have their own policies.
