CSP is the first company to be established in an Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Brazil. This is an area of free trade with the foreign market and intended for companies producing goods to be exported. Companies established in EPZs have specific tax, foreign exchange and administrative benefits, while they commit themselves to export at least 80% of their production. In order to make part of an EPZ, CSP complies with Resolution CZPE N. 5 of September 28, 2011. CSP had the start of its operation at the EPZ Ceará authorized by the Executive Declaratory Act N. 2 of August 2, 2013.
