Camp Young Judaea Texas

CYJ is one of the most beautiful retreat centers we've been to. The serene atmosphere and deer roaming around the camp grounds made our weekend retreat even more of a blessing. Our intent is to connect with God in nature and CYJ definitely provides the place for that to happen without any distractions. The camp director's service and attention as well as the center's facilities surpassed our expectations by far. We will definitely come back to CYJ to have another young adult retreat. YJ has been a great place for our school's High School Retreat! Their staff is very helpful and always on hand and eager to assist with whatever needs to be taken care of! The Kosher kitchen is a really important part of what CYJ has to offer for our group, it allows us to focus on our program knowing that the food will be great, plentiful and kosher! From start to finish, the staff at Camp Young Judaea made us feel welcome and met our needs through our entire stay. The camp provided a great environment for our small group meetings and our outdoor team building activities too. We also had a large group of picky high school eaters, and they left every meal asking when the next one was, because everything was so delicious. We will definitely be back for another retreat at Camp Young Judaea. We had an alumni retreat at CYJ in November with 120 people. CYJ had plenty of rooms to accommodate our group's varying needs, great facilities and terrific food. Best of all, the staff was friendly, responsive and helpful. CYJ made our day! CYJ Texas has been the perfect venue for our yearly conference. The staff is great, the facilities are beautiful, and CYJ Texas has done a great job taking care of our special requests. The chef at CYJ has accommodated our particular menu requests each year, giving us some fantastic meals. The natural setting of CYJ makes it a great place to get away from the distractions of daily life. Waking up to see the beautiful deer grazing on the grounds prepares you for a great day.
