Dakin Dairy Farms

Dakin Dairy Farms has been milking cows in Manatee County since 1973. Of over 140 dairy farms in Florida, Dakin Dairy is one of only 18 that process and bottle milk. The family-run business is run with the utmost efficiency and environmental awareness in mind. In 2008 Dakin Dairy opened the farm to the public and added a farm tour path, a farm fun play area, and a milk bottling facility adjacent to the milking parlor. In 2013, Dakin Dairy Farms acquired an additional 700 acres of land and became a member of the Florida Attractions Association, which helps puts more focus on the agricultural tourism aspect of the ranch.
