Innovation Center

The Innovation Centre provides teaching and learning expertise, leadership, and support to faculty at Durham College and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Our goal is to foster relationships with faculty to empower them create a richer learning environment, whether it is in the classroom or online. We support teaching and learning, curriculum development, as well as teaching with technology. The Centre also champions the introduction of new learning technologies and their appropriate use in teaching and learning. The Centre offers access to highly qualified staff, a variety of computer and multimedia equipment as well as one-on-one training sessions. In addition, the Centre promotes an ongoing, campus-wide dialogue about Web-centric instructional technology and its role in curriculum. Our staff works closely with all schools and faculties to ensure that faculty and staff have the opportunity to use the latest teaching, technology, and online resources that will benefit student learning.
