Desarrollo Cristiano

In 1978 Desarrollo Cristiano became involved in a collaborative book publishing effort which produced over 70 books under the name of "Editorial Hebrón. Due to the economic recession in Argentina in the late 1980's, however, production was stopped for several years. After DCI was moved to Costa Rica in 1992, however, book production started up once again with the publication of "Perfil de un Verdadero Discpulo" ( True Discipleship ) in 1994-this time under the name of "Editorial DCI. Since then, Desarrollo Cristiano has printed 12 different books, all with a pastoral emphasis. It has also printed books for less specialized markets, with themes like family and devotional themes. One joint publishing project between DCI and CTI that reinforces our commitment to leadership training is "Manual de Formación de Lideres", a translation of CTI's "Building Church Leaders". Over the past two years, Desarrollo Cristiano has distributed 7,500 copies throughout Latin America. Our aim is to produce high quality books at a very low cost.
