The organization was founded in 1986 by Dr. Leopoldo Neira as ICC (Researchers of Consumer Behaviour). In July of 1990, Dr. Ernest Dichter, a member of the American Marketing Association of Hall of Fame , along with Dr. Leopoldo Neira, established Dichter & Neira with one purpose in mind: To create a market research agency in Latin America whose success would be founded on exceeding the expectations of its customers. A principle that still drives us today. To maintain our privileged competitive position and reputation, the agency invests a significantly large portion of its budget to attract top professionals and to acquire of the latest technology to maintain the highest levels of excellence and the growing demands of our customers. 1986 Dr. Leopoldo Neira founded in Panama ICC (Researchers of Consumers). 1990 Dr. Ernest Dichter and Dr. Leopoldo Neira founded Dichter & Neira. 1997 Dichter & Neira joins ESOMAR and implements its international rules on ethics and quality. 2001 Dichter & Neira establishes an office in COSTA RICA, initiating the process of internationalization. 2004 Dichter & Neira wins the Global John and Mary Goodyear Award from ESOMAR, only the second company to do so in the region. 2005 Dichter & Neira establishes in El Salvador and Guatemala its third and fourth operations respectively. 2006 Dichter & Neira establishes in Honduras and Nicaragua its fifth and sixth operations respectively. Dichter & Neira partners with research firm Add+Impact to provide that solution exclusively in the region. 2009 Dichter & Neira ventures into the Caribbean, establishing operations in the Dominican Republic. 2010 Dichter & Neira expands its operations and an office in Dominican Republic, thereby establishing its seventh full service office. 2011 Dichter & Neira ventures into the English-speaking Caribbean, establishing its eighth operation in Jamaica. 2012 Dichter & Neira ventures in the Andean region, establishing its ninth operation within Colombia. 2013 Dichter & Neira ventures into the North American ...
