Focusing on innovation , In recent years, Digital Acoustics conceived and developed an innovative series of IP TCP/IP intercoms targeted for the security and communications markets. The series provides a functional equivalent to the basic push to talk point to multipoint intercom; it delivers voice quality audio over Ethernet, wireless, and fiber, in local are or wide area networks. The genesis of Digital Acoustics was Touchbase Systems, Inc., which pioneered the world's first portable modem technology. Touchbase achieved worldwide leadership in portable modem technology and was acquired in 1991 by U.S. Robotics, Inc., now 3COM Corporation.
