Over the years , Digital Acoustics has successfully created and sold products such as the patented TellAPhone® Series to the telecommunications, healthcare and consumer markets. The genesis of Digital Acoustics was Touchbase Systems, Inc., which pioneered the world's first portable modem technology. Touchbase achieved worldwide leadership in portable modem technology and was acquired in 1991 by U.S. Robotics, Inc., now 3COM Corporation.
