About Direct Relief: A humanitarian organization committed to improving the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies, Direct Relief delivers lifesaving medical resources throughout the world to communities in need-without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay. Over the past year, Direct Relief's stepped-up efforts in the U.S. have provided $350 million in assistance - $50 million in emergency financial assistance and $300 million in material aid in the form of PPE, medications, and essential supplies such as oxygen concentrators - to 2,841 organizations serving communities hit hardest by the pandemic. Those efforts remain ongoing.
