Discovery Early Learning Centres is a Tasmanian family owned and operated organisation. We have extensive experience in providing high quality education and care programs for children across Tasmania. Our early learning and child care services are located in the surrounding suburbs of Hobart, Launceston, Ulverstone and Burnie. Our aim is to give all children opportunities to 'imagine, explore and discover'. We offer Long Day Care, Pre-Kindergarten programs, Before and After Kindergarten Care and Outside School Hours Care including, Before School, After School and Vacation Care. Children may attend on a full- time or part time basis. Occasional care and casual care is available where a vacancy exists. We are dedicated to providing high quality child care and educational programs for children in a safe, secure, challenging and nurturing environment that is rich, flexible and encourages learning, curiosity, creativity and exploration. Our educational programs embrace the Early Years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place Framework- for School Aged Care. We believe that all children are successful, competent and capable learners. Children are provided opportunities to learn and make sense of their world through a play based curriculum and we aim to instil in all children a desire and curiosity for learning. Our team of early childhood educators are highly professional, with a diverse range of child care and education qualifications and experience, ensuring a broad base from which to develop successful programs. We believe that all children have the right to develop secure, respectful and reciprocal relationships with educators and that a caring educator is one who remembers what it is to be a child, respects the diverse values of each child and who willingly joins the children on their journey of discovery. We take great pride in our child care services, the learning environments and educational programs that we provide and are committed to best practice and continuous improvement.
