Kenner Discovery High School

Kenner Discovery aims to provide an education that reaches beyond a state-funded education. We will provide Science Labs and opportunities for hands-on learning. Kenner Discovery students will participate in clubs that emphasize life-long skills such as swimming, tennis, golf, chess, robotics, community service, and word and board games. Kenner Discovery will have a media arts center as its library and classroom libraries as well. We need lots of books, online databases, and projectors and cameras. Using 21st century tools to educate is essential to students ready for our global world. We need tablet PC's, lap top labs, and microscopes. Recognizing the importance of Early Childhood Education, we want to welcome 4 year olds to our campus and eventually 2 and 3 year olds. For our faculty, we want a faculty child day care program. We also want the finest professional development possible to keep our faculty informed and inspired. All of these plans and dreams take money. New schools especially need seed money. We ask you to consider a donation to our school community. We have commitments from local and national foundations, but we also need the commitment from our community. We ask you to donate and to pass our message on to your friends and family. Kenner Discovery will improve educational opportunity for the families of Jefferson Parish.
