DivisionM was founded in 2015 by the Rotterdam brothers Beekhuizen, who after careers at Greenchoice and Tango gas stations started selling their own -outdoor products- through Amazon. The knowledge gained resulted in advicing companies that wanted to grow internationally. In 2017 the company moved from Rotterdam to the quieter Harlingen.
