Center for Mediation & Training

Since 1987, the Center for Mediation & Training has offered BASICand CONTINUING MEDIATION EDUCATION COURSES in Divorce Mediation. Our 40-HOUR BASIC TRAINING IN DIVORCE MEDIATIONhas been approved by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board, which qualified it for 44 CLE credit hours. It was also approved by the Association for Conflict Resolution as a 40-hour comprehensive Divorce Mediation training. Completion of basic training may be applied toward partial fulfillment of the requirements for Practitioner Membership in ACR. Basic Training also includes two hours of introduction to Domestic Violence issues, as required by both the Association for Conflict Resolution and the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation.
