We are a Construction Management firm focusing on NYC's high-end residences. Run by Johnny & Steve Donadic, what began as a one-man millwork operation has grown into a full-service, construction management, general contracting and architectural millwork firm. SDI is well respected in the industry and is known for delivering high-quality workmanship and the attention to detail expected from a family-run business. We have completed NYC home renovations ranging from 2,000SF to 15,000SF, specializing in coop residences, penthouses and residential townhouses. With direct owner involvement and experienced project leads, we are dedicated to providing excellent value and service throughout construction. Our seasoned management team shares an understanding of detailing and design intent, and works collaboratively with architects and designers to help expedite the process and create an ease of communication. This team includes a strong administrative staff, site supervisors, project managers and four in-house draftspeople, many of whom are trained as architects. With this diverse group, we can seamlessly integrate several trade materials, such as stone, metals, glass and wood, onto one set of drawings. This level of integration has been a key factor to our speed, management and organization. With this collective experience we have developed a proven tracking system that employs a series of checks and balances to ensure your project stays on course. We also employ skilled on-site millwork installers, finish carpenters, and plasterers, most who have been with us over a decade. With our own crews of full-time skilled mechanics and carpenters working on each project, we are capable of a higher level of quality and schedule control.
