DOORWAYS Staff and volunteers are appropriately qualified and experienced in: Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLPtCA) Counselling skills Emotional well-being Mindfulness & Resilience Information, advice and guidance Mental health DOORWAYS serves young people 13-25 throughout East Cleveland, those in need of support with: Confidence building Self-esteem Anxiety and depression; Employability; Communication skills; Addictions; Housing Sexual health. We have particular specialism and success in relation to young people's emotional health and mental well-being and helping them move closer to the labour market. We are well networked and have established pathways in place to receive referrals from many organisations including statutory such as GPs and schools, and voluntary including other support organisations. Our profile has resulted in around a third of our referrals being from individuals in the community who refer themselves. Our door is open. We recognise that many young people are at risk, facing multiple challenges, and are confident that we can provide support to those with more than one identified issue including: low level mental health; at risk of offending; leaving care; homeless; with a learning disability and/or addiction. The project is open Monday to Friday 9:30 till 4:30 - Upstairs at Milo's Café, Station Street Saltburn. We try to be as flexible as possible with appointments to meet the needs of young people; whilst maintaining a drop-in service too. Contact DoorWays on: 01287 236006 or Text 07548 650205
