Following a stint in Florida in construction management, Barbara established Double-Tree in 1977. Barbara is a mom, cattle owner and sports enthusiast who loves to ride, fish and ski. But professionally, Barbara is an authority on water and sewer systems. In fact, she has worked on so many water and sewer systems in rural Montana she's like the Johnny Appleseed of safe drinking water. Barbara's specialty is helping communities through the entire economic development process, from researching and securing financing, obtaining professional architectural or engineering services and completing construction. Barbara has built professional working relationships with state regulatory agencies and has learned to navigate the bureaucratic maze to acquire public financing for her clients. In the process, she has completed more than $300 million in construction projects, including building more than 800 new homes and rehabilitating more than 400 others.
