Davis, Pickering and Co., Inc. is an electrical contracting company with a foundation of more than 70 years in the construction industry. We were incorporated in 1937 by Charles A. Pickering as Pickering Electric Company. We are committed to excellence in both the finished product and the construction experience, and dedicated to customer service. Our company's growth has been based upon successful ongoing relationships with our union construction employees, lasting relationships with repeat customers, and a bold willingness to meet the ever changing needs of our clients. We provide engineering support to our customers when desired, and are capable of providing engineered solutions to our customers on a design-build basis, with AutoCAD drafting support for construction and as-built project documentation to your specifications. We continually strive to enhance our commitment to service and quality through continued education and certification in the newest technologies available to today's market. Davis Pickering's senior management has over 100 years of combined field experience and specialized training, bringing accurate cost and quality execution to each project and business venture. Davis, Pickering excels in our commitment to safety, exercising all applicable measures to implement a safety program second to none. It is Davis Pickering & Company's Safety Mission to protect, preserve and conserve our human and other resources. Our company has a long history of safety success, and our safety record readily reflects our safety emphasis: our insurance rates, OSHA 300 logs, accident history, as well as our overall safety record are well below industry standards. We have extensive training programs - all employees hold the OSHA 10 hour safety card, all written programs are in place; daily, and weekly job-site inspections are conducted, accident follow ups, as well as other programs needed for compliance and, most importantly, to induce effective safety performance. Our employees and our customers' safety comes first! Of course we recognize that the significant variables associated with a particular project or construction relationship will center around the fit of our project supervision with the owner, the responsibility to be shared, the required tools and support, and the level of communication. These are all variables associated with project delivery that can be controlled internally, and projects are also subjected to external variables such as weather and availability of quality manpower, union relationships and other project constraints.
