Digital Receiver Technology
Headquartered in Germantown, MD Digital Receiver Technology, Inc. (DRT) designs, manufactures, and markets DSP-based communications test /measurement equipment globally. Specific areas include DSP-based receiver design, communication systems theory, cellular/PCS/wireless communications, RF and software design. DRTs products are ideal for inclusion in test and measurement, and synthetic instrumentation solutions. DRT was formed in 1997. Initially located in Frederick, Maryland, DRT moved to Germantown in April 1998. DRT was purchased by Boeing in December 2008 and is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company. In fall 2012, DRT moved to its new facility in the Milestone area of Germantown, Maryland. This facility comprises 135,000 sq. ft. with approximately 50,000 sq. ft. dedicated to equipment manufacture, and the remainder dedicated to offices and engineering development laboratories.
