Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio

Since it was established in 1984, the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio has been an organization made up of people of all ages with Down syndrome, parents of children with Down syndrome, professionals and health care providers-all working together to ensure that all individuals in our community living with Down syndrome have every opportunity to achieve their full individual potential. As a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, we are committed to providing support, assistance and education to individuals with Down syndrome and their families in 23 Ohio counties. We operate with minimal staff and are grateful for the many who volunteer their time to promote our mission. We strongly believe that by providing easy-to-access information, along with compassionate and caring support, we can help families and the community gain a better understanding of Down syndrome. With over 250,000 people in the United States with Down syndrome, we strive to provide tools and opportunities that promote awareness, acceptance and inclusion in our communities.
