We believe in being ethically responsible and are conscious of the concerns of different sections of society, so although Dudson Fine China has the strength of vitrified tableware combined with the aesthetics of bone china, we do not use animal bone. Renowned as experts in our field and building on more than 200 years of manufacturing experience in Stoke-on-Trent, wherever possible we use local suppliers and contractors. This enables us to return profit into the community and support employment in the area. Ian Dudson, Chairman, was President of the British Ceramic Confederation from 2007until 2009, demonstrating commitment to the future of the UK ceramic industry and the company is a member of the British Ceramic Confederation (BCC) and the Ceramic Joint Council. Dudson employees are regarded as experts in their field and regularly contribute to industry, government and non government organisations. This includes links and in some cases management involvement with the Ceramic Industry Research Forum, CERAM and national (BSI) and international standards organisations (ISO).
