Environmental Cleansing Corporation is a Midwest demolition firm, that takes pride in an industry that creates new beginnings. Matt Konopko and his brother Dave, founded ECC in 1991. As the name implies, Environmental Cleansing Corporation started with an emphasis on remediation and asbestos removal. Over the years, we have grown considerably in our scope of work. While some people see demolition as the end of something, to ECC, our clients and most others affected by the job, it's the beginning. Demolition is the first step in the rebirth of a piece of property, a city block or an entire neighborhood. In a large dense city like Chicago, the best property is already being used. When you get to the point where the structure that's on the property has outlived its usefulness, demolition allows you to get a second, third or fourth use from that property. We derived our trademark from this attitude - RAZING TODAY FOR A RISING TOMORROW. What sets us apart from some of our competitors is that Environmental Cleansing Corporation can offer clients a total package. Most sites have several issues that need to be addressed. ECC is licensed and capable of performing it all, from asbestos to demolition to handling tanks that may be on the property. ECC also does on-site crushing and screening. When we leave, the property is ready for the next phase. Our approach is to provide customer care to each and every project, the right resources to complete the work in a safe manner, and to deliver the project in the most cost effective way for our client.
