Edatel S.A. is a Colombia-based telecommunications company. It offers fixed local and long-distance telephony, as well as prepaid telephony services. In addition, the Company provides subscribed-based cable television, corporate networks, Internet services, information network management and interconnection services to other carriers. As of December 31, 2007, Edatel's majority shareholder was EPM Telecomunicaciones S.A. E.S.P. with a 56.00% stake. The Company operates offices in the municipalities of Antioquia, Barrancabermeja, Cordoba, Sucre and Valledupar.
