eDev Technologies
eDev Technologies, was founded in 1999 and has its headquarters in Toronto Canada. eDev supports clients, in their local time zones, worldwide from its North American and Asian based offices, as well as through its network of global partners. In the early days while providing application development services to its clients, eDev's founder, Asif Sharif, recognized a gap in the common understanding of requirements amongst project stakeholders. The idea behind the creation of our initial product inteGREAT was to develop a software platform that works as a virtual bridge between developers, testers, business analysts / requirements engineers and industry experts. inteGREAT, which was first released in 2006, fills this gap and helps stakeholders collaborate on textual and visual requirements throughout the requirements lifecycle. eDev was mindful of developing inteGREAT based on many industry standards. More recently, Asif realized that there was a significant gap between the Microsoft Office suite, which all project stakeholders use today, and Team Foundation Server; in fact they were disconnected! He initiated the idea of SmartOffice4TFS, which would work as a bridge between the Microsoft Office suite and TFS, so that BA's, developers and diverse project stakeholders can work more efficiently through the ALM process with TFS. SmartOffice4TFS was launched in conjunction with the Visual Studio 2013 launch in NYC and was highlighted in Brian Harry's keynote speech. eDev is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and VSP Platinum Partner (The only requirements suite with this designation from Microsoft). eDev's staff has decades of requirements development experience and prides itself in deeply understanding each client's product development environment and being uncommonly responsive to addressing the unique challenges that exist therein.
