Founded in 1980, Elimsan is a Pioneer in Switchgear Industry in Turkey. Since its foundation Elimsan has grown steadily and has become to one of the largest manufacturers in Switchgear Industry not only within its local market, Turkey but also within a large region covering Middle East, Near East and East Europe It is an extraordinary plant, manufacturing MV Switchgear (Air and Gas Insulated , Metal Enclosed and Metal Clad), MV & HV Disconnectors, MV Instrumentation Transformers with also owing advanced pre-production facilities for Metal processing of Aluminum, Galvanized Sheet, Copper and Brass. Elimsan's history is very rich with its accomplishments; 1st SF6 Gas Circuit Breaker in Turkey produced in 1987, 1st VCB (Vacuum Circuit Breaker) in Turkey produced in 1992, 1st HV Disconnector produced in 1994, 1st Metal Enclosed Switchgear in Turkey produced in 1999, 1st 24 kV SF6 Load Break Switch in Turkey produced in 2003, 1st HV Current and Voltage Transformers produced in 2004, 1st SF6 Gas-Insulated Metal Enclosed Switchgear produced in 2004, obtained Environment Certificate - ISO 14001 in 2004, 1st Concrete Kiosk produced in 2005, HV Products Factory opened in 2005. In this plant, all manufacturing and assembly has been done with precision and all product are tested under 3 different MV & HV laboratories, which are internationally accredited. Elimsan also has two accreditation certificates from Turkish Accreditation Agency, which are TS EN ISO/IEC 17020 Inspection Laboratory and TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 Test Laboratory. Superior product quality of Elimsan is a result of not only first-class manufacturing but also of a Total Quality concept supported by ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001. SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Control and Motivation) model is used in each and every part of the plant.
