Elkhorn Slough Foundation

Elkhorn Slough Safari offers Floating Classroom tours for school groups from third to sixth grades and for highschool. The naturalist will provide age appropriate activities for students on tour. There is a Floating Classroom flyer for teachers. Teachers and students find the experience educational and rewarding. Please call us to request additional information. Elkhorn Slough Safari tours are appropriate for a wide range of people including families, children at least 3 years old, adults, and seniors. We provide activities for children while on board. May Feeney took our tour at age 99, again at 100 years as our first centurion, and we hope to see her again. Gerald Lewis, the man of three centuries, recently took our tour because he is constantly seeking more knowledge even after 104 years.
