Ellern Mede is an internationally renowned specialist clinic that provides intensive treatment for children and young people with eating disorders. At our Ridgeway centre based in Mill Hill, North London we welcome all children and adolescents up to 18 years old with an eating disorder and other psychiatric presentations. We provide a high dependency intensive treatment programme for the most complex or challenging cases. For those young people who are lower risk we provide a recovery focused programme. This programme provides physical and psychiatric re-stabilisation, sufficient to discharge to local Child Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Ellern Mede Ridgeway is the leading specialist clinic in the UK for children and young people with eating disorders. Set in beautiful grounds with first class clinical professionals and excellent facilities our focus is on enabling our patients to manage their disorder and regain control of their life. Family involvement and group support are key in the recovery treatment process and our friendly professionals will work closely with you to tailor a treatment programme to your child's individual needs. On site we have an Ofsted registered school who provide tuition up to A level which has recently been judged as Outstanding. As well as a varied and stimulating education syllabus, we and the school offer school holiday activities including excursions to local attractions.
